Connecting a Squarespace Domain to Your Kavyar Site

Go to Advanced DNS Settings in Squarespace

  1. Log into Squarespace
  2. In the Home Menu, click Settings, then click Domains
  3. Under Squarespace Domains, click the domain name. If you have multiple Squarespace domains, you'll manage their DNS settings separately
  4. Click Advanced Settings
  5. Scroll down to Custom Records

Remove Squarespace Default Records

You may need to remove the following default records, if present:

@ A 198.49.23.xxx

@ A 198.49.23.xxx

www CNAME ext-sq.squarespace.com

Add First Record

  1. In the Record field of a blank row, select A from the drop-down
  2. In the Host field, enter "@"
  3. Leave the Priority field blank
  4. In the Data field, enter "76.76.21.21"
  5. Click Add to save the record to your settings

Add Second Record

  1. In the Record field of a blank row, select CNAME from the drop-down
  2. In the Host field, enter "www"
  3. Leave the Priority field blank.
  4. In the Data field, enter "cname.vercel-dns.com"
  5. Click Add to save the record to your settings

Notify Kavyar Support

Tell the Kavyar support team that you finished adding all of the required records.

They will complete the setup for your domain and confirm that your new Kavyar site is live. Congratulations!
